PLANNING.
Parish Councils have the right to comment on planning applications as a statutory consultee. The comments are submitted for consideration by the District or County Council (North Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire County Council) prior to determination of the planning application. Nocton Parish Council aims to consider planning applications at normal monthly meetings. If the deadline for comments falls before a meeting, the Parish Council may hold an Extra-Ordinary Meeting to discuss the application. NKDC has a lot of information on their website and also holds regular drop-in sessions where prospective applicants can get free advice.
